2020 has been a tough year to say the least. I think the uncertainty brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic has rippled almost every aspect of our lives as we know it. It got worse for me in particular on August 12 when my beloved Blanka passed away. Moving on is still something I'm working on but one major point of closure for me was Han's immortalization of Blanka via a mural in my home gym. From day one, interaction with Han was beyond a client to business relationship. He interviewed me about Blanka, asked questions, made a trip to see the room (to ensure the gym look and feel would not contrast with the mural), asked for photos of Blanka and that process in itself helped in my road to recovery. Being able to talk about Blanka, what she meant to me, were all elements that Han managed to capture in the mural. (I always saw Blanka as a guardian cat and now I have a mural of her watching over me always) Without a doubt, Han's skills and craft is unquestionable (perfection if you ask me, he captured Blanka to the T) but above all that, he takes it to another level by pouring his heart into the work. You can feel it in the way he interacts with you and you can see it in his work. I have no doubt in my mind that Han is destined to create beautiful murals in the years to come and I am beyond the moon that I have one in my house. Finally, on a personal note, more than efficiency, Han shows humility. More than cleverness, he shows kindness and gentleness. Han has got to be one of the most responsible and caring workers I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He not only painted me a mural, he also made sure my wall was in a good condition for it so that the painting will last a long time. I contacted Han for a small job I had in mind for one of my living room's walls. I am quite happy with the finished result as it is quite accurate.
