Food was nice.. Good place for family gatering, quite place and empty on the weekdays. The seafood beancurd is the best and must try the shrimp ball, really delicious. Price slightly higher than the usual restaurants. Overall, its recommend

There were 3 of us. We tried the SMALL portions of chef's recommendation. The dishes have the "wok fire flavour". The fried tofu & the 4 kind of fried beans. The octopus was just right chewy, though I think it goes better with spicy sauce... not salty egg sauce.

After passing this place umpteen times and reading few rave reviews, we decided to have lunch here. The place has a contemporary decor with a relaxing setting. We ordered the signature rice wine chicken noodle soup and other side dishes had a hearty meal. Crew service was good as it was not crowded yet. Prices were above average but still good value for money.

Had dinner yesterday (6th September 2020) with two others... Besides their Ginger chicken meehoon, we were served sub-standard food.. the so called 'jiao pai' Guangxi chicken cannot even matched chicken served at stalls in coffee shops. The chicken meat is greyish in colour and kind of hard... definetely not fresh...NO CHICKEN TASTE at all... I love Kampung chicken (choy yuen kai) and this is the worst chicken I have ever eaten (very very disappointed). We brought to the attention of one staff, who just smiled and walk away. Secondly the 'tong cho' talipia fish was so soggy (not crispy at all)... even a toothless old person can just swallow without biting... Thirdly the French beans with dried shrimps is TASTELESS (I guess chef forgot to put in salt or sauce of some kind)... maybe good for people with 4 Highs!.... TOTAL FAILURE. Felt very CHEATED!!!! Suggestion : Consider sending your chef to the Guangxi Chai Chicken Restaurant at Paramount Garden to learn and compare the chicken they served there (ada standard) before you sing about how good your Guangxi Chicken is! However, I must say their Ginger wine Kampung chicken meehoon is one of the best I have tasted so far. Will only patronise this restaurant for this dish only.

Tried the branch at Paradigm Mall. Basically the same menu as the original restaurant. The Bentong ginger sauce is stll the best. Ordered extra to go with the dishes. Had the steamed Tapah ginger fish last time, so ordered the steamed ginger Patin instead. Fish was quite fresh and steamed just right. Loads of ginger. But like the Tapah fish, the Patin lacked a bit of salt. The flesh was a bit bland. Needed some soy sauce and it was ok. The signature pork ribs was delicious indeed. The claypot salted fish pork belly was alright, not the best. Ordered a simple Th'ng Chatt veg with scrambled eggs. Quite nice. The pot of Pu'Er tea was great, thick and tasty. Price-wise a bit above average. Service was OK. Not bad, will be back.
