A very nice bus station. The machine-asisted ticket buying experience felt really smooth and quick. There are restrooms/toilets as well, and it is well-cleaned. I can say that it's cleanliness level is almost like KLIA's or TBS'. While waiting for your bus, there are also many shops that you can check out, these includes grocery stores, food restaurant, clothes&bags shop. The place can get a bit confusing at times, and you may get lost. But luckily, the station have signs everywhere so you'll know where you're heading, or you can ask the local shop owners. Other than bus, there are also taxi services, but I don't know how it's like since I've never used one myself. If someone is going to pick you up, there's a lot of parking places that they can wait at. TL; DR - > Good place. > Smooth and fast machine-asisted ticket buying experience. > Clean restrooms [very nice] > A prayer place for muslims > A variety of shops available, including restaurant and clothes shops > A lot of signs to look at in case you're lost > Taxi services > A lot of parking places, both for bikes and cars

Buy ticket using machine nowadays. Quite good. Service also good. And the most important part, the depart time is on time! Punctual! Great. Love it.

Place is slightly dark in there, because rooftop colour is blue, you might look inside blue at the middle part. But the machine ticket is good, suggest buy online to save some

Melaka Sentral is the major transport hub for inter-city bus travel. I used this station for getting to and from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka. The station is well organised and well sign posted. The inter-city and local buses are in different parts of the building, but again these are marked. The ticketing system is well organised into a centralised system where the counter staff will give you a choice of bus to catch to your destination along with their departure times and you simply tell them which one you want. Easy! Be careful when you arrive though. There are lots of taxi drivers trying to hustle a fare and telling tourists that there are no buses to Dutch Square from the station, which is not true. The Panorama bus # goes from the station to Dutch square and departs every 30 minutes. There’s also lots of shops like you would find in any shopping mall, but these are aimed more at locals than foreigners. There are several eateries here where I also had a quick bite at one of the restaurants after arriving here from Kuala Lumpur and needing some lunch.
