Almost every month I hear someone resign. Turn over rate here are very high. Very worst management. Previously work at production line. Here, the top man cannot even handle, manage, or organize his plant, yet he are at that position. When there is big operation breakdown, sometime operation try to hide the root cause...then same thing happen again. If you see Ann Joo has better bonus or increment, you are definitely wrong. Ann Joo yearly increment are the worst. The appraisal are set so that not many will get A, and many will get C.

I can't accept the culture in here totally, china man management, encourage OT, OT is a must due to the sluggish standard procedure and the system in here. Management really need to put more effort to fix this.

I am quite surprised that i am not alone, and i've spent some time to read all these comments, sadly these reviews are really truthful, i am not trying to defame the company reputation. Honestly, this company is not that good as it used to be, a lot of management problems, some of the colleague are nice, i am a resigned employee, hopefully the company i used to love can improve.
We work for salary pay, no jobs are easy, but in here there are no future. Turn over rates are freaking high, management are sucks as hell, dirty environment. If you think you can endure and survive in this hell like a Superman, you are welcome to challenge this. Feel free to ask those people who has been working in here.
I do agree for most of the reviews in here and why do i chose to leave a review in here? I have left ann joo for quite some time, i do agree a lot of the colleagues in here are friendly, but here's the thing, this is a listed company and leading steel industries in malaysia, saving cost is the main priority, a lot of the machines, hardware computers are obsolete but still they are using it, there are a lots of daily operations issues, reluctant to invest more for the company development, decisions making are terrible as things keep delaying and dragging up to years. Turn over rate is high in this company, although the company benefits are better compared to other local company, hope it can be improved in future. Thank you for reading.
This is a heavily dusty plant due to the nature of the businesses as a manufacturing plant. High turn over rate in this company, but there are still a lot of loyal employees staying due to the salary, high OT Claims in this company. Why 1 star? Business processes are the worst of all in this company, delayed payment, all manual work, keep on OT non stop, OT because of the poor system implemented long time ago, IT infrastructure are really worst due to the stingy management unwillingly to invest, server problem, not stable, network problem, etc. You can learn a lot of things in here as a fresh graduates, for those switching from MNC company to this company, i am so sorry that you will be having culture shock in here.
Accidentally see this many review when navigating to ann joo, very shock to see all people saying how they feel, i feel the same way too, but it is hard to get a new job in this year, steel industry no stable anymore, a lot steel company no doing good
