The old mosque was established in 1920 at about 100 metres from the current site. In 1970, the mosque was refurbished and the name was changed from Masjid Kuala Paka to the current name, Masjid Jamek Paka. In April 1988, the mosque was replaced with the new building. The entire construction of the new moque took about almost 2 years and finally completed in late 1990s. The entire contruction costs about RM 3.3 millions. The new mosque can cater up to 1500 people. The mosque was officiated by the DYMM Sultan Mahmud AlMuktafi Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah on 7th June 1996.

Strategic location. Easy to Locate. Away from main traffic. Beautiful mosque . The main prayer hall located at the first 1st floor. It seems challenging for senior citizens to go to the main prayer hall by the steps.
