Beautiful Moorish style pavilion. It's mostly for taking pictures and was pretty empty when we went. It's pretty much a 'dupe' for the Granada's Alhambra. When we went, you had to keep your shoes off in the main portion of it and no pictures were allowed in the main courtyard. It was pretty underwhelming, but a good place for a photo op. If it's out of your way, it's definitely not a must see. Note: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be slightly different.

Resembling the intricate pavilions of Marrakech, this pavilion is tucked away in a corner of the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens, surrounded by landscaped gardens alongside a lake. Skilled Moroccan artists were brought in by the Malaysian government to construct the building, which is a symbol for the strong diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Morocco. With a built-up area of 18,000 square feet showcasing the Moorish architecture of the sort found in places like Cordoba and Granada, Spain, this place is as exquisite without a price tag of traveling across the world weighing you down! Best visited during sunsets as the light reflects on the luxurious tiles, softly lighting the place offering a romantic feel.

The main door under construction when I was there. The architectural is nice and good to photo but since the main door not open I cannot explore much. Don't go during peek hours on weekend, it will be crowded and hard to take a good picture. The parking was wide but not so convenient because they adding smalls stones on it. It can make car stuck.

Visited the pavilion back in March before the Malaysian movement control order. This landmark building in the botanical gardens of Putrajaya is based on Moorish design, and it looks like Moorish design of the Nasrid era as it’s very similar looking compared to the Alhambra in Spain. The inner courtyard wasn’t open because of the partial lockdown, but the rest of the building was still open. Even without the courtyard, the building looks great. Even when not fully open, it's a pretty place for photos.

Rather small pavilion to visit. Free on the outside and RM3 to enter the building itself. Nice architecture with very fine details. The place though is not super well maintained, it could use some better maintenance, but if cleaning and fixing broken tiles. Overall worth a stop to take pictures and enjoy the nice surroundings.

Their magnificent architectures make me feels like I'm on my trip to Morocco. This place totally are instagram-worthy spot. I get camera ready for some photo-taking session. Really impressed with the design. I highly recommended this place if you're looking for a spot to glam up your Instagram.
