Food taste is so so and rice used is of poor quality. The huge crowd likely due to the good location. But the durian chendol is not bad, good for gula Melaka quick fix.

Really good food. The eggplant sambal is delicious and has a spicy kick! I get why this place keeps coming up in the maps.
Food and servings were generous and tasty. Pricing wise a bit expensive but this could be due to the rent for it is in a prime location. Walking distance from most exclusive hotels and malls. Go for the ambience, taste and service, ignore the pricing.
Price: Food was a little bit pricey, but I've been in Melacca Town for a few days, the "pricey" price seems like a normal range here, so Price is Okay. I've added a receipt here. So you can judge the price yourself. Food: Ayam Buah Keluak: I've never tried Keluak fruit before. This dish is exceptional delicious. If you're wondering what it tastes like, the dish tastes like Assam and the fruit tastes like very rich flavoured black beans. Butter Milk Lotus Root: This is not your ordinary dish, neither it is a popular dish in Melacca. The lotus roots was fried, it just matches so well with butter milk. So damn freaking good. Kangkung Balacan: The Kangkung has been cooked with Melacca Balacan, its good of course! However, hygiene needs to be improved, and we found a rubber band inside the dish. We still finished the dish without complain anyhow. Cendol: Yummy. Unlimited Gula Melaka. Mmmm Those are the recommended dishes I've tried.
Seriously this place is a hidden gem. My family and I have been visiting this place for 4 years whenever we get the chance for a Melaka staycation. Food is superb. Service is very friendly. Highly recommended!
The pak chay was a bit salty. But the nyoya fish was delicious. The price was moderate.
First visit. No value for money....pricing at menu and actual billing different. Charged 10% service charge but NEVER disclosed to customer.Will not revisit this restaurant.
Not sure this is real authentic Nyonya food, but the taste is to my liking. This is my 2nd visit here, short walk from my hotel. Told the staff I'm rushing for catching my coach and they really preparing our food pretty fast though it was almost full house on a Sunday lunch time. The chendol is very nice.
