November 19, 2014, Wednesday The place was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. I feel so sleepy and relaxed while sitting and listening to the birds, waterfall and other insects singing. We saw some wild birds and small mammals during our hiking. Trees are very important to our planet, we should at least plant trees every year. If you are a nature lover then this place is perfect.

Not well maintained. But a nice place to visit. Maybe you can eat your meals while watching the waterfall. I visit this place when I have a trip from Kudat to Tawau and we stopped here for our lunch. But bring your own foods.
Quite a magnificent tall waterfall. However there isn't much open space at the water edge to enjoy the water and the view. Visitors will have to view from the wooden staircase vantage point.
There's a three storey high waterfall. Quite slippery after rain. Amazing views.
I miss to this place
This R&R is a good place to rest while driving along the road frm Lahad Dati to Tawau/Semporna. It used to be great but it has maintenance problems. The suspension bridge oberlooking the waterfall is not safe anymore. They have closed the wooden steps going down to the river, too. However, there is news that it is going to be a tourist info hub within 2020, and maintenance will be carried out before May 2020. Hopefully, it will be carried out soon.
Its nature. It is also clean. Ther is a small grocery here too selling snacks and drinks.
Been here twice - in the span of 2years maybe and both times it was closed. it is still closed now somehow. no reasons stated as to why. Disappointing to say the least.
