A mountain full of inedible sugary rocks which has no other purpose besides curating pretty photos for social media and being abandoned after 1 bite each of 3 desserts. Although they might serve unappetising afternoon tea, I do see the appeal of this lounge given the prime location and elegant setting. Personally this would be my first and last try as I can’t put up with the mismatch between the quality and price point when there are many options for high tea in KL.

We had the worse Christmas afternoon tea at here. Service was horrible! Staffs were unhappy and not warmth at all. Service was extremely slow! I need to wave them to fill up the water for my tea, carrot juice did not come after 30mins later, scones were crispy like a cookie, desserts (tho looking nice), they were sweet like hell! Like i just got stricken by diabetics! YUCKS! totally horrible tasting afternoon tea for a 5 star hotel. My gawd. Don't come here if you are not someone who likes a bag of 1kg sugar on the plate. I had never had such disgusting afternoon tea from a 5 star. RItz carlton does better than them 100x better. RM158nett per pax is totally not worth. Totally disappointed!

Tried calling a bunch of times to ask about the afternoon tea time and to make a reservation, but no one answered.
Would be 2 stars if it weren’t for ONE excellent employee. 99% of servers were walking past and not helping us order our drinks as we starred at them ready to order for a solid 10 minutes. The art of scanning the room for customers starring at you should be trained into 5 star hotel employees. Fortunately, Jenifer was stellar and only server to do this scan of the room and see see us in the slightly hidden corner booth and go out of her way to take our orders and bring them in the rush we needed. She’s in a league of her own here, I recommend management has her train the other members to scan the room and deliver as prompt service as she has served us.
Food quality is good
A cozy and quiet ambiance to have a meet up however our order came quite late during my visit. Food wise, was ok as we took the set, but the presentation was detailed.
