BEFORE the completion of the two -lane highway that connected the Royal city of Kuala Kangsar, Perak with Gerik a few years ago, Tasik Raban was a must -visit location for those traveling from Kuala Kangsar to Lenggong and Gerik. The same goes for the opposite trip. Tasik Raban or also known as Dataran Tasik Raban, is located in the small town of Raban, near the town of Sauk, about 34 kilometers from Kuala Kangsar. Lenggong is about 45 kilometers from Kuala Kangsar while from Lenggong to Gerik it is 53 kilometers. With its position as the main route provided with rest and dining, those who pass by are sure to stop by to relax and eat and drink while enjoying the beautiful scenery around the lake.
