I went to the place on our trip to mangrove forest trip in langkawi. The place is a floating fish farm. The place had less variety of fishes. The place would have been good with more maintenance. The place was good for kids and family to check. I didn't taste the food there since i was not comfortable with the sea food. The place had piranha fish which saw for the first time in my life live.

The experience of choosing your own seafood from the farm was fantastic. The food tasted good, but it wasn’t extraordinary. And RM628 to barely feed a family of four (a small lobster, one mantis prawn and one grouper)? The food, presentation and service better be amazing for that price. But it wasn’t. Just a warning to get the amount before they put your seafood on ice. They don’t offer to tell you the price up front.
The trip was amazing, 2 hours trip is enough, and you can get great deal if you buy the package yourself when you walk into that place.. you can deal with the boat driver yourself and get a privet ride with the same price of a share ride from travel agents..
Its an amazing place... fish tour is interesting as well as eagle feeding. The restaurant was floating over the waters and I was expecting some unsteadiness but amazingly it was standing still. The food was simple home style cooked fried rice (chicken/prawn/fish) and tom yum soup (spicy/non-spicy) and though the food was much basic but tasty and satisfying. And completed the meal with some fresh fruits, It also housed a fish farm where we saw some awesome giant trevallies groupers hamours and also sting ray
First thing is,i think you should come here to see the fish, not for the food. That's what i did.I see a lot of negative review about the food here. Since i did not eat here,i can't comment on that. Visited a while ago. Fed the rays, touched the shark, held a sea urchin. Was part of mangrove tour by bard. Was an excellent place when i visited.Since it was part of a package,it was cheaper. Would recommend to visit.
Maybe they do have really good fresh seafood but the price is double from the other place in Langkawi. To me not that worth it...
Went on an excellent Kayak tour and had lunch afterwards here ar Hole in the wall. Ask for "Cairo" (not like Egypt but Asia -- can't pronounce his full name). He has experience of 20 years and had many jokes and funny stories, all the while teaching us about the location and wildlife. Lunch was on this amazing floating food-court style restaraunt. Stunning location, friendly staff. The meal was simple and delicious, and was fresh and waiting for us when we finished the tour. A must go for all travellers!
The place stinks. Food served is also unhygienic.
