I came to check this place after noticing it on Google maps. To have access to it you have to go through a little kampung and just follow the road which goes on for about 5 min. There is a little turtle hatchery, but be aware that turtles only come to nest during certain periods of the year... Since 2013 the number of Kudat turtles has been gradually decreasing. There is a group of locals who voluntarily help to protect the wild turtles against various aggressions such as poaching, destruction of habitat due to tourism, rubbish in water and beaches, etc. They also make efforts in keeping the area clean from rubbish which is carried in from the sea. I met a very friendly local named Rolland who looks after the Turtle Hatchery. He took the time to show me around and explain the reason to this Turtle Hatchery. These people are to be recommended for trying to protect nature life in Kudat. Ps: If ever you come and visit, please do not leave any of your rubbish (plastic bottles, paper, etc) behind.

It's just a place to keep the eggs, nothing more to see here
