Interesting place. Lots of greens and special pitcher plants. RM3 entry fee for Malaysian. Tonnes of parking space. Remember to bring mosquito repellent. Lots of mosquitoes. The place is not too big. Need more maintenance. If there's not so much of mosquitoes I would have spent longer time there.

Good place for kids to visit. It would be even better to add more learning elements such as description board or a mini exhibition for visitor to have a better understanding about pitcher. However it was a good afford to have a garden like this that's the reason why I given it 4 stars. More support needed and lots of room for improvement. Love how they maintain the big tree inside. Clean toilet and lots of car park space. May consider to work with university to improve the content of the garden.

Worst place ever . Sucks management, not even put a notice that close, but the door is opening ????? Can u update u r close in your website, Facebook, Google map? And the place is very dirty and very slippery.

Very run down with mossy/decaying pathway and gazebos. They put several fake plastic orchid plants around the garden. Need lots of works to improve especially the faded labels. Lots of pitcher plant though.

Great effort from the Padawan city council to get local awareness and share it to the public. Stop here while waiting the semenggoh wildlife to reopen

As a Nepenthes lover I had to visit this place. However, I was fairly disappointed. There are quite a few different plants, but they are not well taken care of. Very dry pitchers, often with no water inside at all, and lots of plants are even half eaten by bugs. In general the display could be organised a bit better and kept more clean. This place has a lot of potential and could be much more interesting but more maintanance is needed.

Was a nice place but not being maintained very well.

Self Reflection

The garden is small. It has many types of pitcher plants growing mostly in pots and on the ground. The plants are unique but lack information on site. The garden needs better landscaping to attract visitors. It looks a little sad. Good effort by the local council in planting the pitcher plants for future generations to see. I used to find lots of these plants in my backyard when I was little. I don't see them anymore. It shows that they're very sensitive and susceptible to environmental changes. The toilets are clean.
