This is actually a nice National Park, close to Kuching, good for day trippers and even those who wants to stay overnight. However, there are some shortcomings for those who are more serious into wild life photography and those who want to enjoy nature especially night walks. Compulsory to get a guide even to go to the Frog Pond, which is one of the highlights of the Park. And the guided tour is by the Rangers who doubles as guides when there are guests who requested for it. Accommodation is decent including the hostel/dormitory as cooking amenities are available since there are no restaurants or eating place inside the park! Those who wants to stay overnight must bring their own water and food supplies. There is a waterfall in the park, popular with day trippers.

if you're a fitness freak, love hiking, nature lover this is a good place to go. entrance fee is rm10/pax. the hike was uphill from the start. took a beginner for me 2hours hike an another 1hr going down. The tower was close when i went there..maybe it needed some repairs or something. wasn't sure but the scenery is great, breathtaking nevertheless.

Kubah Waterfall, Kuching When we had our pre-wedding photoshoot 3 years ago, we knew it had to be different.. We hiked in Kubah National Park all the way in to the waterfall, about an hour of journeying, together with 2 family friends who are amazing photographers. We brought formal attire, and changed there and there, just to immerse ourselves in the wonders of Borneo's Rainforests. The waterfall was magical.. It's not the gushing type with thundering waters, but instead, a gentle cascading fall with beautiful serenity pools, perfect for cool-water dipping. What makes this waterfall ethereal is how lush vines and ferns of different greens line the side of the cascades, flourishing and thriving with the constant gentle patters of water. The photography there was well worth all the effort. How to get there? Drive by car (or rent) to Kubah National Park, using Waze or Google Maps. From Kuching, the journey will take about an hour or so. Upon arrival, Malaysians only have to pay RM 10 per entry, Foreigners at Rm 20. You will receive a map with 2 main destinations - the top of the mountain, and Kubah waterfall. You can give the top of the mountain journey a miss. From what I hear, there isn't even a view to enjoy, and it's just a tar road journey all the way. Kubah Waterfall is to me the main attraction here. Come by morning; by afternoon, you might be denied entry because the rangers would have no one inside the rainforests after 6pm. *Special thanks to Gabriel Diong and Julieann for the amazing photoshoot!

It hasn't use the forest trail to climb up until the summit. But it was really challenging because it requires whole our body to climb the mountain. And as well as a lot beautiful natures around the trail. Such a great moment that you can created.

Very beautiful place but too bad we cant go nearer to the waterfall as there was a tree falling and blocking our way up. Overall still very great experience to have jungle trekking there.

We did the blue and orange trails here and really enjoyed them. The waterfall does have a tree semi blocking it but you can go over or under. The longer trail it less trafficked and ends at a rehabilitation center where you can see some caged animals such as monkeys, crocodile, birds and sun bears.
