The cleanest airport i've ever went to. Only domestic, no international. But it's okay cause the airport design is very comforting. And it's worth it to wait for a long time here. Has many stores especially Starbuck.

A symbolic establishment reflecting the culture and heritage of the Terengganu state, Sultan Mahmud Airport has wonderful buildings adorned with decor depicting the Nusantara arts and Terengganu wood carvings aesthetic which is quite similar to the Terengganu State Museum and also the more recent Paya Bunga Square building. The airport provides ample amenities and a strict access-control policy for visitors; auxiliary polices patrol the area constantly and monitor the safety of their visitors. The parking space in the airport is adequate and the sanitary conditions are good.

A modern airport serving the state capital. Unique architectural design reflecting Terengganu culture and heritage. Many amenities provided at the premise. Parking is large and many shopping outlets for tourist and last minute shoppers.
