Good for kids
close to the city center, although still if you dont have a car, the best way to reach from the city is by Grab. There are two ways to hike. First is through the pavement road which is very steep and the second one is through the jungle. Both route will cost you same amount of time to reach to the peak, which is more or less 45 minutes. During wekend especially in the morning and evening, its very crowded with local. best time to go is during the sunrise, but expect nothing when the weather is bad.

There are two entrance to the mountain. One which were prepared carefully with road while the others are natured form. The second entrance are quite shrouded with trees branches ,vines ,and small bushes. Ropes were installed in certain areas to ensure the hiker's safety when climbing. There are few flat landscape where we can have a break, and a peak that connects Bukit Besar to Bukit Botak. Water ropes can be seen visible during day and wide open on rainy days. Cautious must be take when acrossing it. Further on and you will find some drinks set-up tent, selling variety of beverage sort from energetic drinks and fresh yogurt drink. In a nutshell, for them who took the road ,it's 1km to the top it is quite fraudulent mountain. On the other hand them who took the second entrance do please take cautious, hold on to the ropes and hike slowly.
