I haven’t tried a lot of Texas styled bbq restaurants in KL/Malaysia. But. This. Is. THE. BOMB! So so so good. Tried the brisket, it was so tender. I like my brisket following the 90:10 principle, 90% meat and 10% fat. And this was done perfectly. All the sides and sauces were yummy too. And cornbread! There was actually cornbread y’all. Reminded me of some of food I’ve had in Texas and the South for sure. Hubs had the sausages and he enjoyed it tremendously too. Price was good, not expensive by western food standards and definitely worth it for the flavours. Sorry, food was too good I didn’t even think of taking pics. Must remember next time. Can’t wait to go back.

Not the first time here. Trying out the supreme burger this time. Nice but a bit more of the sautéed mushroom would be nicer. Anyway service was fast and good for the 10 of us.

The salted egg buttermilk was very nice! Love it so much! Solo platter was nice also but brisket not as tender as we ever tasted. Chicken was very nice though. Mashed potatoes was nice so as the coleslaw. Good environment. Easy to park maybe coz we went there early.

Just finished my brisket set, food is very flavorful, very intense beef and smoke taste. Portion is huge too. Smoky bbq sauce is absolutely awesome. Brisket is on slightly overcook side, a bit towards a steak but its fine for me. If anything need to be improved, perhaps it is the trimming. I do ate some silver skin from it (the one that contributes the chewy texture), and meat is on a little bit too fatty ( im ok with it since I love beef fat). Anyone who wants a leaner brisket, remember to make your request. Overall, love it, will be back someday.

A must visit cafe in Melawati. The beef brisket and chicken are juicy, tender and flavourful. One of the best BBQ eateries I have visited. Their burgers and sausages are also juicy and tender. Very reasonable price for the delicious food... Have been to other BBQ eateries that is hot due to only outdoor seating, self-service but need to pay triple the price compared to TFKL... Just scan the menu and order online so you dont have to wait for the waiter/waitress to come and take your order. 5 stars for all...food, drinks, staff and environment. Definitely will come back soon.
