I would recommend this centre for certificate courses simply because of the opportunity we get of interacting with clients & for preparing and presenting our reports on them. Also the clinical supervision sessions are very informative .Dr is very knowledgeable and the supervisors are very helpful. I would highly recommend my supervisor Mr Tommy who was always there to guide me & clear all my doubts promptly.

I only came for the first session (assessment) but they put 3 people in the room with me, the psychologist plus two assistance, without asking me. Also there was a video camera recording the whole session. I was very uncomfortable in this setting and will not return. EDIT: The reply to this review seems concerned but I dont see how you could fix this. Bad first impressions mean clients like me wont give you a second chance. I am now with a more professional centre in KLCC.

This is a very good centre. My father brought me to visit them 8 months ago and there is a psychologist named Tommy who was very nice, patient and skilful in assessing my issue. He is able to help me resolve my issue and I’m very grateful towards his assistance. So, I would like to give him a 5-star review.

Wish I read these reviews before I go there. I had same experience as other say: the doctor did not listen, came late, people walking in and out of the room when I am talking and at the end I have to buy a lot of test kit and supplement. Do not recommend! Now I am with a place close to KL sentral and they are much better - luckily not all psychologist are like this centre!

Sorry to say this, but a ‘patient’ has to be really super rich before u go to this place. They (the curly hair guy) will only promote many type of packages (with hefty price tags) to try and test what’s the problem, and its not cheap. And would not GUARANTEE be able to solve our problem. In my opinion, if i go for their packages, i will have another new problem - financial problem with debts. Managed to find another center (not proper to share here) with reasonable price and will really talk to u to find out our problem, instead of throwing all the pricey packages on the table. First consultation already cost me RM600 (getting more stressful after that) comparing to others ard RM300 (can see light in the end of tunnel). Seriously, have no confidence in this center (just sharing my point of view)

Completing my psychotherapist license with International Psychology Centre was truly a profound experience. I have been interested in helping mankind to combat all mental related issues, and finally been able to gain in deep knowledge on how to carry out the mission. Im thankful to Dr Edward Chan, the instructor of this course who is very knowledgeable about all therapy approaches, and is able to provide strong points within the lectures. He provides students with in depth knowledge, covering both theories and practical information on how to diagnose the patient and how each therapy work and suits the different patients. His teachings provide a good base to anyone, who is even into their early psychology education sector. Plus point, the clinical supervision session conducted on weekly basis was very insightful with help of actual patients examples, and Dr Edward takes time to highlight the effectiveness of our therapy approaches, and assists on how to resolve challenges with each patients. My supervisor Tommy’s dedication to aids student with their courseworks and presentation makes learning in IPC much easier. He helps with student’s queries tirelessly and guide us with more depth to the lesson. Well done IPC, and thanks to Dr Edward and to my supervisor Tommy.

This is the worst place ever to be. I don’t even have words to begin with. This is a total scam place. I called them and they said the price will be certain amount so I am vulnerable and ready to get help since I have been battling with mental issues for a while now. It was emergency for me but I am a international student I don’t have a support system here in Malaysia. So knowing the price I went and they sat for 15 minutes Just 15 minutes and the guy “hmmm” to everything i said. Then the session is done so he told me I have to buy the whole medication about RM1300 yeah but they will give me for Two days- which was good enough for me. Come to my surprise they charged me RM378 for nothing no medication nothing just listening to me for 15 minutes. If this is the case I would’ve have just stayed home and talked to the doll I have. This is nonsense. They taking advantage of vulnerability in people just disgust me. They are supposed to be there to help people and make them feel like there is a place that could help and make us feel safe but no they are exact opposite. I want everyone to see this and Never set foot in that place. They deserve to go out of business and I hope they do because they are not helping anyone but themselves.
