Lokan bakar (grilled shellfish) takes about 30-40minutes to prepare. Roadside parking can be a nightmare. Specialty drink is kelapa bakar, dessert coconut pudding in coconut shell.

We ordered the coconut bakar (Rm5), rambutan (Rm4), BBQ river clam, coconut jelly, and fresh coconut. The BBQ river clam has a muddy taste and sand residue. The coconut bakar (burned coconut) tasted a bit like hot cocoa. Overall was okay, would still recommend for a drink if you're thirsty and nearby.

A must visit stop on your way to watch the fireflies, these stalls serve the iconic white coconut pudding of Sabah, as well as roasted freshwater clams in a curry paste. Additional items on the menu worth trying are the baked coconut water in shell, consumed locally as a way to revitalize your body, taste great too. You can also get locally made big slices of tapioca crackers coated with local honey, it's an experience and looks good on pictures. Do support the local community when you visit and the prices are much cheaper compared to town.

kelapa bakar is a must try for foreigners and locals alike, not to my liking due to the taste but the normal coconut and coconut pudding is nice

Tasty lokan and coconut pudding. Highly recommended. The size of lokan can be choose either big or small size. Fresh coconut and coconut bakar also sell here.

FENDI Like the Brand

The grilled lokan with the sauce is awesome with a mixed of tangy and spicy sauce. Not to forget the awesome coconut pudding. But the chicken wing is just average plus another downside is that the place is freakishly hot.
