Incredible experience. Can't rate this place enough. The guides are all so knowledgeable! Great food and service, friendliest of staff and the rooms are really nice and clean. Everything about this place is amazing and we didn't want to leave.

The company come across as been very organized, unfortunately they dont have any form of automated web booking and you must contact them via email, on our case has taken 2 days to receive the first reply. As we were trying to tailor our particular trip they response were very slow, 1 email reply every 24 hours . As we finally got the final stage of the quote and wanted to pay, we had to wait another day for then receive a reply saying " the tour is not longer available, who first come first serve" been our honeymoon we were extremely disappointed. We quickly contacted another local tour operator which they were super quick ( 2 hours to organize all), but it has also been 600 sterling cheaper for the same tours! If you can browse around.

Oviera and the team were so helpful after we missed our flight from KK to Sandakar. They fitted us into a tour the next day after we booked new flights. The trip was absolutely worth it, after having some up close and personal experiences with the Orangu Tans at the Sepilok Sanctuary after our guide Jamal held us back after the other tour parties had left. We booked direct from NZ and we will be coming back to join them in their longer jungle trips in the future.

allows tourist to scare endangered wild life by flying drones within a few yards of monkeys high up in the trees. The monkeys were jumping away from a 15 meter high tree top just to escape. The person operating the drone did it again and again, whilst laughing. The staff did nothing. On a different boat nearby I and the whole boat called for him to stop, but him and the staff did not care. Disgraceful.

We are a group of four women from Australia. We stayed at Sandakan and KK, and the day tours were well organised and we saw some good stuff. The hotel at Sandakan was lovely. The KK hotel was ordinary, with terrible food. A highlight was a fantastic day with Britney the guide and Freddy the driver, up to Mt Kinabalu, Poring Hot Springs Canopy walk and the Botanical Gardens. Britney was a very considerate, knowledgable guide, with a great sense of humour. We felt very lucky to get such terrific genuine attention and education from a truly talented young local man. Well done, Borneo Eco Tours!

We worked with Borneo Eco Tours to design a custom trip that matched the itinerary used by National Geographic. Everything was truly perfect from the planning to the actual trip. All the pick-ups within Borneo were on time and all the excursions were as described. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We loved every minute. The best part is that the price for two was 8,800 US less than National Geographic and 11 days longer. We stayed at the same rain forest lodges used by National Geographic. I highly recommend Borneo Eco Tours to anyone.

We planned a two day one night tour with Borneo Eco Tours well in advance of our trip to Malaysia. This included the hotel before and after in KK. From pick up to drop off at the airport everything was well organized. The night in the jungle was amazing and in our case the hikes were without rain and mosquitoes. When they write that it strenuous then it is. We all - 44 m, 43f less sportive and 20f pretty sportive - had our challenges with the hike. We did the BB5E LEMAING 2 – PAMATANGAN 2D1N so stayed the night at the Pamantangan hut
