The breakfast sucked. Fried egg or boiled egg with cold noodles. This guy had a nut allergy and they didn't make him anything special so he was eating rice and cabbage. The boat was very small and when other boats passed, we would get rocked with waves pretty bad. The room was decent, warm shower, A/C, no ants and came with 2 bottles of water. Oh their water at the restaurant tasted as if it was fresh from the river. The only thing I liked about this place was the view from the deck while you waited for your river cruise. Check out Nature Lodge Kinabatangan, you would be happier with the food for the price there (450R for 2 people 3D1N). You could pay separately here, boat ride listed at 50 and nature walks at 45 and they don't offer you with a ride out (if you do it separately)

Excellent boat tours for a good price! Very nice staff, he was very informative and went out of his way to show us wildlife. Basic room, warm water, air con and very clean with no bugs. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend, we would love to return!
This place is nothing short of a scam run by Mr Aji. Don't book either this accommodation or the tours from here. Rooms resemble jail cells. Avoid this hell hole!!
Since they had no tours the night we slept there, this rating is only for the accomodation. Room is large with pretty comfy beds. Very bleak though - literally a large and high room with 1-3 beds, A/C, a bedside table and a chair. Something to hang anything would be nice. Breakfast is very basic - in 'buffet syle': toast (if the toaster works, so probably not), 'jam' (jelly), hard boiled eggs, some noodles with ketjap if you like.
Found this place while wondering around Sukau looking for a homestay, and I'm glad I did! It was the cheapest place around, and as we were the only guests we booked really nice "private" tours for next to nothing. The only guy who works here is incredibly friendly, and also showed us much nicer parts of the river than the big cruises did. Additionally the rooms were big, clean, comfortable and had a modern bathroom and AC. I highly recommend!
