Hiking Kledang Hill through Legendary Track was another great track and we can use it if we want to try for something new. It was an incredible full ascending track. And the track will not bring you to any checkpoint for tar road like the usual 4-2, 4-9, 5-4,or 5-8. Instead, it will lead you up until RTM which is its peak. Hence, it is really important for us to be aware and always alert to our own ability and fitness level if we were to climb Kledang through this track. Because, there will be no way out if we want to go back unless by using the same path. We took about 2 hour and 30 minutes to reach the peak. However, the duration might vary depending on your pace of your average speed. Be very alert and careful with the condition of the track especially if you climb it after rain. It sometimes can get very slippery and made your step unstable.

Great place to test your hiking endurance. There's tar road all the way up to the peak, in which there are 2. There is a fork in the road near the top; Turn right to reach the lower peak (700m altitude). Turn left to reach the upper peak (800m altitude). Both peaks house TM Towers, and Jeeps occasionally traverse from peak to base, so watch out for them. Hiking times depend on how many rest stops you visit. As reference, in Jan 2018 it took me 2hrs25mins to reach the 700m peak while resting at each available stop. In Sept 2019 it took me 1hr24mins to reach the 800m peak without stopping/resting. All in all, a must visit at least once a year to measure your fitness progress, and take some great pictures on the way.
Rode up Kledang Hill as it was on my bucketlist. Need to get there before sunrise as it can get crowded as well as hot as you climb up. Be careful of glass shards on the roads, especially nearing the top. Those with thin tires need to be extra careful as the glass shards can easily cause a puncture. Need to request the local authorities to install lights at the Kledang Hill parking lot... it's dark and a lot of stray dogs.

Just a short distance from the town of Ipoh, this hill trekking area is just so cool. It takes about two hours walk using the tarmac road to reach the hilltop and the scenery along way is just so good
