Found hidden behind bamboo blinds and potted garden at the junction with Amoy Lane is this busy breakfast corner. A mug of mean kopi (RM1.60) is served here to wake you up from last night's drift. The quarrelsome Hokkien couple up front cooks your morning Koay Teow Thng with a Singapore style menu. A basic bowl (RM5) comes with five petite soft and salty fishballs, handmade by factory hands with little fish paste in the Penang tradition of eel ball making, much of it just flour. A few strands of chicken and a token lettuce tops off this clear broth of chicken and pork scrags. The latter is a delicacy being gnawed upon by a visiting octagenarian hungry for his lost childhood memories growing up in Singapore's ghetto, but at an additional price. So comfortably, Pay as you Go here. Add on 3 pieces of pork intestines for RM1.00..

Clean and cozy environment. Food and drink taste good. Complaint to COVID-19 SOP, strongly recommended.

The clear fish ball soup with kway teow noodles is tasty. The morning crowd was very local.

I just came here for a coffee to check the place out. Service was very fast. I think my iced coffee was Rm 1.50. I arrived at 12:30 in the afternoon (they close at 13:00) and had time to leisurely sip my coffee. Empty stools started to be stacked and put away but one of the workers there told me no rush. They worked around me and the few locals still there.

Been patronising this kuey teow t'ng for the past 20 years. Be honest, the taste n quality has dropped drastically since the last time i've visited this place. The soup base was not as tasty as it was, the homemade fish ball quality has also dropped. Last time it served one of the best homemade fish ball in penang. The place is still crowded as it is very popular among islanders & tourists. Not so recommended. (Personal opinion)
