Convenient and inexpensive way to travel to Penang, although beware the driver puts you in the wrong place. We ended up in the car side of the ferry, fortunately the ferry staff were very helpful and allowed us to board from the wrong area and walk towards the passenger terminal area from the vehicle entry side.

Connecting the mainland with the Penang Island, around 20 minutes only. Need to pay 1.8 myr from mainland to the island, and free from island to mainland.

i love how penang central integrates the trasnportations from rapid bus, ferry, and KTM, its so convenient. also, the food stall. many choices.
