As of 19/9/2017, there's no fast food restaurant, if you want to eat KFC/MCD/Starbucks you have to commute by car. The new buildings are great the technology.

The UIA hostel is fairly good but since it is newly built the line for internet is poor. The hostel is built like an apartment where each unit has 4 rooms that accommodate 8 students. There is a musolla in the middle which is very close to the hostel. Next to it, placed a few cafes and shop. There is not many choices to dine so students sometimes go to UTHM's hostel as its dining hall is larger with several cafes. Transportation may become a bit of an issue if you don't have car as the hostel is a bit far from the faculty and the town. You can walk or cycle to and fro but if raining, there is no place to take shade. There is bus provided but they are so limited. Fortunately, there are transporters and grab car, just prepare the moneyla.
This place is fairly new, so not everything is well equipped and ready for use here. Clean, well-lit and well-kept. Not much of shade is around this place (wait a few years until the trees have grown enough then it'll be OK). Line connection faces a bit of a struggle for you to get here. Some of the shared facilities are still undergoing renovation. There's a lot of Obike here so yeah.
Spacious but hard to find any cafe or restaurant.
