If you're staying in the resort , it makes sense to come here and dine. They have a semi-buffet steamboat package where they will give you some meat and the vegetable on the tables were free flow. Not that cheap but can be forgiven given its location

I ordered the meat platter. Soup base was Nabemono (mixed) and Soto (Malay style chicken soup). Steamboat is semi buffet - meat portions are fixed - the rest of the "cheaper" ingredients like vegetables, beancurds and various noodles and desserts are free flow. The ingredients were fresh and the meat was well cut. My only problem was that they gave us chicken breast ( Nabemono soup base was rather authentic. Unfortunately the Soto soup base was underwhelming and the flavour lacked depth - just plain salty - which was strange considering Soto being a local dish (?????). Overall, MYR 75 goes towards the super friendly and warm service, along with al fresco dining, I mean you are literally having steamboat next to a jungle. Rather worthwhile if you are looking for quality steamboat and have a few bucks to spare.
Atmosphere and ambience is unbeatable. And our hotel room happened to be exactly right outside the restaurant. Honestly, the steamboat food and soup is average especially if you are Asian and used to eating steamboat. But if you have not tried steamboat before, it will be a wonderful first experience. Service greatly exceeded expectations, very warm and friendly servers who went above and beyond.

Food was fresh but got staircase to climb... not recommand for wheelchair and stroller user
Vegetables were fresh but the soup were a little disappointing. Tables are not comfortable. Not much choice of food. They don’t even serve corn here.
Price was reasonable based on the food given. Service was excellent as we were warmly welcomed and served throughout the meal. When the broth were a bit to salty, I told one of the staff (not sure what position he was in), he immediately took action by tasting the soup and came back to me to apologize, agreeing that it was quite salty. Not long after that, he offered to cook a new batch of broth which we politely declined because we were okay to just add more water. Then he offered a complimentary dish to us because of that. We were pleasantly surprised! Good job guys!
