Life Extra Innings

Food quality is 5 star . But service should be better. Only one person I found good(who doing cash, maybe local man) you. Some maybe Nepal guy very bad. I ask him rice then want the yogurt sauce He became angry. I don't understand how a guy with Tattoos in his hand can work in Muslim restaurant. I love your food but seriously service very poor. That boy was also talking cigarettes from your other staff. Staff's behavior and attitude are not up to the mark. Today I eat your restaurant but not happy.

Kapitan is one of Penang favorite local Indian food. They are famous for their cheese naan and tandoori chicken. Their mee goreng special and nasi goreng special is really special as they added their tandoori chicken and stir fry together! They are many more branches available.

This place is jam packed during Ramadhan. We had our breaking of fast here. The food is good and the portion is big. Service is also good. Pricing is reasonable. On normal days the place is also almost always full.

Didn’t know that we can only order their famous chicken milani after 11am but i was worth the wait. So so good! Wanted to have it again the next day but our schedule didn’t allow us. However, their staff was a bit unfriendly, we almost felt uninvited.

I would recommend you guys to eat their Milani Briyani. I think it's their signature dish here and it has chicken with buttery gravy. Every milani dishes will have the same chicken gravy. They also have normal nasi kandar style dishes. You can use GrabPay ewallet here. For carpark, you may need to pay per hour and we managed to find parking during lunch hour. It is near to Queensbay mall within walking distance.

The Roti Canai at this Kapitan is better than most other Mamaks. Their Iced Milo tastes better than KFC's and McD's believe me!

The Maggi goreng special and nasi goreng special is nice. However drinks are a bit too sweet, even I have asked to reduce sugar level.

The primary Kapitan would be the one at Georgetown, and this one is it's branch. Highlights, similar to the prime outlet would be Briyani milani, cheese naan and Tandoori chicken. Kapitan used to be my favorite cheese Naan place when I first came to Penang circa 2005, I do feel that the quality have somewhat degraded over the years, or maybe I've been in Penang too long to appreciate its novelty. Nevertheless, the branch food doesn't feel as good as the prime outlet. Maybe it's the ambience, I don't know.
