I went there on 1st April 2021. Hiking with Working colleagues (Team Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur) A new kind of experience. An ideal place to hike for nature lovers. There is a lake and mini water falls on top. there are some beautiful places to take pictures. Easy trail for the new hikers.

It's a rather easy hike, totally acceptable for beginners to try out. May take around 45mins to pass the lake and see a small waterfall/stream. Can take up to an hour if you take your time to enjoy the surroundings. The trail is well marked, wide and there are ropes for adjusting yourselves. Do bring a bottle of water with you since it can get pretty warm outside.

Highly recommended for you! Easy trail for beginner,a bit hilly but don't worry you can still smile _ hehe. After reach at the peak you must continue ahead and follow the loop of the beautiful lake. Estimate to finish hiking 2 ways around 2 hours. The trail is suitable for kids.

If you love the nature, you should come!! Its epic!!! However, do note that its quite the hike and trek, steep slopes and only 1 way in and 1 way out, be prepared to stretch all your muscles

Great for beginners, but might be challenging for first time and less-active hikers. The trail is easy in terms of navigation as it's Out-and-Back (return back using the same trail you enter). You'll reach the peak sooner than you think, and you'll have to descend down the other side of the hill to reach the old Ampang reservoir lake. It's about a 30-45 minute hike from the start to the lake. You can also have a leisure walk that loops around the lake and connects back to the same trail. A minor hazard is a loose layer of top soil/gravel and fallen leaves covering the trail when the weather is dry. Step on the less covered, and more "polished" spots on the ground as this is where dry condition grip is. Also, the gaps on some steps can be fairly large, but ample guide ropes have been provided to support yourself. There are no on-location washroom facilities nor concession stands nearby. So prepare yourself in various ways before hiking. On weekends it's more ideal to park on the roadways around "SK Taman Bukit Indah", and walk to the start of the trail. For an easier hike, I recommend "Ketumbar Hill" or "Bukit Kiara Trail". For a more challenging hike, try "Bukit Besi Trailhead". Also, AllTrails is a terrific free app for trail navigation.

It was a good hike. I was there yesterday morning and lost the gold bracelet my mom gave me. If you have seen it, please let me know. Appreciate it.

My first hike at Bkt Kembara. It's was done on Weekday. Very few hikers around during the week. The hike starts with an immediate steep climb. Then another steep climb before reaching a flat rest place. Then a very steep climb downhill to the reservoir/dam. Nice calm walk around the reservoir. Then another steep climb up to the same rest place. The climb steps are very uneven height. Same goes for downhill. It's great workout. Beware of Leaf and Macaques Monkey. We kind to our green hike area. Please do not throw any rubbish here. Take them home.

The best short hike for beginner! All the hikers there are so friendly greeting each other good morning even though we are all strangers to each other! Once you've reached the reservoir you will see the beautiful lake scene.
